31 youths from Maoist terror-affected Bijapur district met Union Home Minister Shah

Raipur. 31 youths from 5 villages around Palanar camp in Bijapur district, affected by Maoist terror, met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Nava Raipur today. Many of these youths have come to the capital Raipur from Bijapur for the first time. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai, Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Saw and Vijay Sharma and Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap were also present on this occasion.

Union Home Minister Shah enquired about the well-being of these children and wished them a bright future. During their visit to the capital Raipur, these children visited Purkhauti Muktangan, Mahanadi Bhawan Ministry, Meevan Steel Plant, Magneto Mall, International Cricket Stadium, Purkhauti Muktangan, Railway Station and Magneto Mall. These youth have reached Raipur from the night of 23 August. The youth will return to Bijapur tomorrow after visiting Gangrel Dam.

It is noteworthy that under the Niyad Nellanaar scheme, all kinds of basic facilities including roads, electricity, water, ration, schools, hospitals, Anganwadis are being provided in the villages of these children around the Palanar Suraksha Camp. Along with this, the benefits of the schemes of the Central and State Government are being provided to all the eligible beneficiaries. Under this scheme, Niyad Nellanaar scheme is being operated in the villages within a radius of five kilometers of the Suraksha Camp. Niyad Nellanaar scheme is being operated in 33 villages near the Suraksha Camps of Bijapur district.

On the initiative of Bijapur district administration, children of these villages near Palanar camp have been introduced to new opportunities and all development activities in the field of employment including industrial development in the capital Raipur. This has brought new enthusiasm among these youth. These youth now want to create a new and beautiful future for themselves by joining employment-oriented activities.
