Compassionate appointment to 58 people from Naxal-affected families: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai

Raipur: The family members of those killed in Naxal violence are being provided compassionate appointment in government service under the rehabilitation policy of the Chhattisgarh government. On the initiative of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, all sections of the state are being benefited by prompt implementation of welfare schemes for their development.

Today, in the meeting of Bijapur District Level Rehabilitation Committee, it was decided to give compassionate appointment to 58 people from Naxal-affected families.

Superintendent of Police Dr. Jitendra Yadav said that a total of 58 eligible applicants will be given compassionate appointment in the first phase for compassionate appointment. Earlier, while reviewing the cases received from the Superintendent of Police office in the district level review meeting, claims and objections were invited till July 19, later this date was extended and fixed as July 24, 2024.

After resolving the claims and objections received on the said dates, on the basis of the decision of the committee, finally 58 applicants have been found eligible in the first phase for appointment to Class IV posts in various departments, who will be given this appointment.
