Raipur: Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Shri Vijay Sharma today made a video call and talked to the young Livru alias Diwakar of Kabirdham, who was once a Naxalite with a reward of Rs 14 lakh, but is now taking steps towards shaping his future by joining the mainstream of the society. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma has said that all our brothers and sisters who have deviated from the path and are associated with Naxalite activities should take inspiration from Livru alias Diwakar and bring pleasant changes in their lives by returning to the mainstream. Our government and our police are ready to cooperate in every way.
It is noteworthy that Diwakar had taken up arms at the age of just 16. After wandering in the jungles as a Naxalite for 17 years, he surrendered before the police along with his wife. There was a reward of Rs 8 lakh on his wife.
Today, under the rehabilitation policy of the government, they are working by joining the mainstream of the society. Shri Sharma has said that influenced by the policy of Chhattisgarh government, the Naxalites of the state are surrendering and creating a separate identity for themselves in the society.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma has expressed happiness that with the initiative and help of Kabirdham Police, 105 students from Naxal affected villages of the district have passed the 10th and 12th board exams. Shri Sharma has congratulated and congratulated everyone.
He has praised Kabirdham Police. Kabirdham Police had made more than 200 children fill the open examination form of class 10th and 12th in order to educate the children of remote Vananchal area of the district and highly Naxal affected villages and to continue their studies. Today, due to the hard work and dedication of the police department, 105 students have passed the examination. All these students are from remote Vananchal villages of Chilfi, Taregaon, Rengakhar Jhalmala, Bodla of Naxal affected area.
