He told that on the information of Naxalite activities in Shobha police station area situated on the border of Chhattisgarh and Orissa, the police team was sent towards Kodomali, Ichradi, Gariba, Sahbinakchhar villages. Police officials said that when the security forces were in the forest of Gariba village of the area, the Naxalites ran away after seeing the security forces.
After this, the security forces recovered a tiffin bomb weighing three kilograms each, two cooker bombs and other items from the forest.
He told that the security forces have destroyed the bombs and the Naxalites are being searched. Officials said that Naxalites often plant explosives to target security forces during anti-Naxal operations in the area.
