Haryana: Congress has released its manifesto for the Haryana Assembly elections 2024, in which many big promises have been made for farmers and women. This is a 40-page manifesto, which includes free treatment up to Rs 25 lakh and a promise of giving Rs 2000 every month to women. Besides, Congress has also promised to bring water from Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) canal.
Congress has named its manifesto “Hath Badlega Halat”. Former Chief Minister Bhupendra Hooda, State President Uday Bhan and former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot were present on this occasion.
Key promises in the manifesto:
1. Women’s colleges and women’s ITI will be established in every assembly.
2. Haryana Foreign Employment Board will be formed for jobs abroad.
3. Farmers martyred in the farmers’ movement will get the status of martyrs and a memorial on the Singhu border.

4. The Supreme Court’s decision on SYL will be implemented.
5. 2 lakh government jobs will be given.
6. Haryana Skill Employment Corporation will be closed.
7. Fast track court will be formed for paper leak cases.
8. Recruitment calendar for the entire year will be released.
9. Single window system will be started to solve the problems of women.
10. Free pink mini bus and pink e-rickshaw facility will be available for girl students.
11. Farmers Commission will be formed for the farmers.
12. Minimum Support Price (MSP) will be legally guaranteed.
13. Women between 18 to 60 years will get Rs 2000 every month.
14. Immediate compensation will be given in case of crop damage.
15. OBC creamy layer limit will be increased to Rs 10 lakh.
16. A monthly pension of Rs 6000 will be given to the elderly, disabled and widows.
17. It has been promised to restore the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) for the employees.
