New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday spoke to his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu on recent developments in West Asia and stressed that there is no place for terrorism in our world. Modi said it is important to stop regional tensions and ensure the safe release of all hostages.

Modi said in a post on ‘X’, “Spoke to Prime Minister Netanyahu about recent developments in West Asia. There is no place for terrorism in our world. “It is important to contain regional tensions and ensure the safe release of all hostages.” Prime Minister Modi said that India is committed to supporting efforts for early restoration of peace and stability. Prime Minister Modi did not mention any specific incident, but Israeli strikes in Lebanon last week killed seven high-ranking commanders and officials of terrorist group Hezbollah, including the group’s chief Hassan Nasrallah.
