Uttar Pradesh: A horrific road accident took place in Mirzapur. Here, a speeding uncontrolled truck hit a tractor trolley on the Varanasi-Prayagraj National Highway near Katka village of Kachwan police station area.
The collision was so severe that the tractor trolley was blown to pieces and the tractor overturned in the drain. In the accident, 10 laborers traveling in the tractor trolley died on the spot. At the same time, three laborers were seriously injured. Everyone has been referred to Varanasi Trauma Center.
The workers from Bhadohi were going to their home in Ramsinghpur Mirzamurad of Varanasi after casting the roof in a tractor trolley, during which this accident happened. As soon as information about the accident was received, a police team arrived and took stock of the incident. A police officer said that the injured have been sent to the hospital. Post-mortem of the dead bodies will be conducted.

The names of the deceased include Bhanu Pratap, Vikas Kumar, Anil Kumar, Suraj Kumar, Sanohar, Rakesh Kumar, Prem Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Nitin Kumar and Roshan Kumar. Meanwhile, the injured include Akash Kumar, Jamuni and Ajay Saroj. All of them were residents of Birbalpur Mirzamurad and Ramsinghpur Mirzamudar villages. This accident happened around 1 o’clock on Thursday night.

Superintendent of Police Abhinandan said that the truck hit the tractor trolley from behind. 10 laborers died in this accident. Three are injured, who have been sent to Varanasi Trauma Centre. Laborers from Bhadohi were going to Varanasi for work. The truck driver has fled from the spot. The body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem.
JCB was ordered
There was an atmosphere of chaos at the spot after the accident. A crowd gathered at the spot. The tractor was badly damaged in the accident. At the same time, the front part of the truck has been damaged. Police have called for JCB to remove vehicles from the road. A police officer said that information has been sent to the families of the deceased.
