Tamil Nadu is the land of ‘siddhas and saints’: Pawan Kalyan

The Uncut

Amravati. Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said on Sunday that Tamil Nadu is the land of ‘siddhas and saints’. “For culture and devotional traditions, Tamil Nadu is indeed a unique place and this land is richly blessed with many siddhas and saints,” he said in a social media post. Kalyan said that his late father, Swami Ramakrishna Paramahansa, was a great devotee of Sharda Devi and Swami Vivekananda.

He said that his father, who took initiation into Kriya Yoga from Ranchi, made all his children practice the ancient meditation technique. He said that during the 1980s and 90s, his father used to visit Mahavatar Babaji Ashram in Santhome, Chennai and serve ‘Yogi Ram Surat Kumar’ at regular intervals in Tiruvannamalai. Kalyan had said on October 3 that those opposing ‘Sanatan Dharma’ would be wiped out.

He had said, “If anyone tries to destroy Sanatan Dharma, then let me tell you, I am saying before Lord Balaji, you will be destroyed.” Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, while giving a measured reaction on Friday to his Andhra Pradesh counterpart Pawan Kalyan’s comment on ‘Sanatana Dharma’, had just said, “Let’s see now.”
