God is with AAP, no need to fear: Kejriwal on ED raids

The Uncut

New Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said God is with his party and there is no need to fear as nothing wrong has been done. He made this comment after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids at several places linked to AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjeev Arora in connection with the money laundering investigation.

Kejriwal alleged in a press conference that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led central government was targeting his party through its agencies in the name of investigating corruption. During this time, Chief Minister Atishi was also with him. The former Delhi Chief Minister said that the agencies had earlier arrested him, Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh and other party leaders.

Kejriwal told reporters, “It is not that any investigation into corruption is being conducted. “It seems that the Prime Minister is after a party and has deployed all resources and agencies to eliminate that party and its leaders.” The ED on Monday conducted raids at several places in Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Gurugram and Delhi in connection with the investigation into a land “fraud” case against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha member Sanjeev Arora and others. Official sources said that searches were conducted at about 16-17 places, including the residences of the 61-year-old MP, in Ludhiana in Punjab and Gurugram in Haryana.

Kejriwal said, “God is with our party. There is no need to fear…nothing wrong has been done.” He alleged that gradually the curtain is being opened, the reality of the Prime Minister is coming to light and people are realizing that he says one thing and does another.
