Sources said that the Territorial Army soldier has been kidnapped by terrorists from Shangas of Kokarnag area of Anantnag. Another soldier escaped from the spot by dodging the terrorists. After escaping from there he informed the army. Security forces have started an operation to search for the missing soldier.
This incident has happened at a time when the election results have been declared in Jammu and Kashmir on October 8 and now the new government of National Conference-Congress alliance is going to be formed here. In 2020, terrorists had kidnapped the soldier from his home.
Earlier in the year 2020, terrorists had carried out a similar cowardly act. Then Territorial Army soldier Shakir Manzoor Wage was kidnapped in Kashmir. Five days after this incident, the family found Shakir’s clothes near the house. This incident took place on August 2, when 24-year-old Shakir Wage had gone missing near his house in Harman, Shopian, South Kashmir. Shakir was kidnapped by terrorists when he had gone to his home on Bakrid.
Dead body of the soldier was found after 1 year
Along with kidnapping, the terrorists also burnt the soldier’s car. Shakir was posted in 162-TA in Balapur in South Kashmir. Even after a lot of searching, his trace could not be found. A year later, in September, Shakir’s body was found in Kulgam, Kashmir. After investigation, the police contacted Shakir’s family. During this, his father Manzoor Ahmed Wage had said that after identifying the body, it was found that it was his son Shakir. Who had gone missing a year ago.
