Atishi had come to live in the bungalow located in Civil Lines area of ​​North Delhi on Monday with her belongings. Kejriwal lived in this bungalow for nine years and vacated it after resigning from the post of Chief Minister.

AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh alleged at a press conference that the bungalow has not yet been allotted to Atishi and accused the BJP of trying to “grab” the bungalow.

He also claimed that a camp office of the current Chief Minister in the bungalow complex has also been vacated. He alleged that since the BJP has not been able to win the assembly elections in Delhi, it is now trying to “grab” the bungalow of the Delhi Chief Minister.

Showing the documents, Singh claimed that Kejriwal had vacated the bungalow in a proper manner. Earlier, the BJP alleged that the bungalow has not been handed over to the Public Works Department (PWD) and its keys are still with Kejriwal. However, Singh rejected this claim.

Responding to Singh’s allegations, Gupta questioned why the keys of the bungalow were not handed over to the PWD by Kejriwal and instead it went into the hands of Atishi.
He requested the PWD to seal the bungalow at 6, Flagstaff Road and accused the Chief Minister of “illegally” occupying it.

Gupta, in a post on Planted. Atishi was allotted AB-17 accommodation last year after he was appointed a minister in the Kejriwal government.

Singh alleged that the BJP was spreading “lies” on the issue despite there being documentary evidence of Kejriwal vacating the bungalow. “Chief Minister Atishi held a meeting at the camp office in the bungalow but later the staff present there were removed,” Singh alleged in a statement. Violating the protocol, the officials have not allotted the official residence of the Chief Minister to Atishi under pressure from BJP.

The AAP leader alleged that the BJP was spreading “lies” and creating confusion in Delhi as its tactics to weaken and break the party had failed.

Singh alleged, “They (BJP) contested assembly elections in Delhi thrice and lost to AAP every time. Since they could not win the elections, they are trying to grab the Chief Minister’s residence.” The party MP said that Atishi deserves to be allotted the Chief Minister’s residence. He alleged that BJP is lying that the keys of the bungalow have not been handed over to PWD.
