The Uncut

Houston. India’s legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar will teach the tricks of the game to young cricketers in a special cricket clinic during the National Cricket League final in Texas. This cricket clinic will be held at the University of Texas at Dallas with the aim of inspiring young cricketers and promoting the game at the grassroots level in America.

Tendulkar said before the event on Sunday morning, “Cricket has given me a lot and now it is my turn to give it back.” He said, “I am excited to meet these young players and show them that with hard work and passion anything can be achieved.” National Cricket League (NCL) president Arun Agarwal said about the importance of Tendulkar’s participation, “It is more important than cricket. It is about inspiring others to realize their hopes and dreams. It means a lot for a person like Sachin to guide these young players.”

Many legendary cricketers have been associated with NCL, including Sunil Gavaskar, Wasim Akram and Sir Vivian Richards. Players like Shahid Afridi, Suresh Raina, Shakib Al Hasan and Chris Lynn also served in this season of the National Cricket League.
