Rajya Sabha member Krishnalal Panwar resigns, will start new innings as Haryana MLA

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and newly elected Haryana MLA Krishnalal Panwar resigned from the Rajya Sabha on Monday. Panwar met Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar and submitted his resignation from Rajya Sabha to him. Panwar said that he is starting a new innings in Haryana after being elected MLA from Israna.

In this regard, the Vice President said on ‘X’, “Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar have accepted the resignation of Rajya Sabha member from Haryana Krishnalal Pawar with immediate effect and have found it in accordance with the constitutional provisions.” The resignation will leave one seat vacant from Haryana in the Rajya Sabha.
