Manendragarh: In Surajpur district, the wife and daughter of head constable Talib Shaikh were brutally murdered on Monday. This double murder has shaken the entire state.
On Tuesday, the funeral procession of mother and daughter was taken from their home village Manendragarh, in which a large number of people participated. During this time, Superintendent of Police Chandramohan Singh also participated in the last journey and shouldered the funeral procession.
The bodies of the mother and daughter were cremated in the Mauharpara cemetery of Manendragarh. People from all communities were present in the last journey. A large number of police forces were also present there.
