Surajpur. The brief details of the incident are as follows that on 13/10/2024 in the night, accused Kuldeep Sahu along with his associates Aryan Vishwakarma alias Goldy, Chandrakant Chaudhary alias C.K. And was sitting with Rinku Singh at the old bus stand Surajpur. At around 9 pm, constable number 734 Dhanshyam Sonwani of Surajpur police station went towards the old bus stand where when he saw Kuldeep Sahu, the constable tried to catch Kuldeep Sahu as he lived in Badar district, on which Kuldeep Sahu tried to arrest the constable. He was seriously injured by throwing boiling oil from a pan on him. ,
To arrest the accused in Surajpur police station, the available force was immediately gathered in which head constable 286 Talib Shaikh, P.R. 165 Uday Singh and other police personnel were locating the accused around the old bus stand and police station Surajpur. Meanwhile, accused Kuldeep Sahu along with his associates Aryan Vishwakarma alias Goldy, Chandrakant Chaudhary alias CK, Rinku Singh tried to murder the policemen by crushing them in their Swift Dezire car number CG 29 AD 5666 at around 10 pm. An attempt was made by the police party to chase the said vehicle but due to the crowd on the road due to Durga Visarjan, the accused along with his associates managed to escape by dodging the police. When SSP Surajpur received information about the incident, he collected additional forces from nearby police stations and security centers, provided technical support to the cyber cell and was preparing to raid the possible places of the accused.
Meanwhile, head constable 286 Talib Sheikh went to his residence at Mahgwan Chowk where blood was scattered on the stairs of his house, due to which he feared something untoward. When we went inside the house, the head constable’s wife and minor daughter were not at home, things were scattered in the house and there was a lot of blood splattered everywhere. On which the head constable immediately informed the police station.
The address of the accused Kuldeep Sahu and his other associates was being searched by the police. Meanwhile, when the said suspicious Swift Dezire car was spotted, the police chased it and tried to surround it, but the accused managed to escape from there by dodging the police. . The vehicle was being continuously chased by the police station in-charge Vishrampur Inspector Alrick Lakra and the police team. During this time, the accused fired on the police party near Village Karwan, Chowki Latori, in response to which the police force also fired for security but the accused was killed in the night. Taking advantage of the darkness, I left the car and ran away.
On 14/10/2024, Surajpur police station received information that two unidentified bodies were lying in village Peedha. On which the police identified the dead body as that of the head constable’s wife and minor daughter. On receiving information about the case, the incident site was examined minutely by the team of FSL Ambikapur and a blood stained knife and blood stained clothes of the deceased and her daughter were also recovered from the incident site.
Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Inspector General of Police, Surguja Range, reached Surajpur from Surguja and took stock of the spot and deployed several police teams to arrest the accused who carried out the incident and kept monitoring the entire proceedings continuously. Under the guidance of Deputy Inspector General of Police and Senior Superintendent of Police Surajpur Mr. M.R. Ahire, District Surajpur Cyber Cell and various teams were formed and the team was sent to trace and raid the accused and immediately the suspects of the case and the acquaintances of the accused were summoned and strictly interrogated. Was done. To maintain law and order, peace was established by using force from the range level. Meanwhile, accused Kuldeep Sahu was caught by Balrampur police on 15.10.2024 while coming by bus from Garhwa Jharkhand in Balrampur and was brought under tight security by Surajpur police.
On detailed interrogation, accused Kuldeep Sahu confessed to the incident along with his associates Aryan Vishwakarma alias Goldy, Chandrakant Choudhary alias C.K. And along with Rinku Singh, throwing hot oil on constable 734 Dhanshyam Sonwani, trying to crush the policemen with a vehicle, going to the house of head constable Talib Shaikh, fatally attacking his wife and daughter and murdering them in a brutal manner and dumping the dead body in village Pedha. Accused Kuldeep Sahu has confessed to washing the car to hide the evidence by dumping it in Surajpur police station and to firing at the police force while escaping. Apart from this, another accused Suraj Sahu has also said that he helped the accused to escape from the village. Blood stained clothes and slippers have been seized at the behest of the accused during the incident.
The dead bodies of the deceased and her daughter were found to have been murdered by stabbing them with a sharp knife. In the medical examination, prima facie the possibility of incest with the deceased and her daughter has been ruled out and slides have been seized for advance medical examination and sent for examination, the test report of which is not received. Further action will be taken after receiving the test report.
It is noteworthy here that, on 13.10.2024, Kuldeep Sahu, father Ashok Sahu, age 25 years, village Old Bazarpara Surajpur, who is a goon of police station Surajpur, against whom several criminal cases have been registered in Kotwali Surajpur and action was also taken in District Badar, which was violated. On doing so, Chhattisgarh State Security Act and Section 188 IPC will be registered against it. He was arrested after registering a criminal case under which he was out of the district after getting bail. Criminal case number 364/2024 Section 294, 506, 341, 327 IPC in Kotwali Surajpur in relation to the above accused Kuldeep Sahu assaulting the applicant Punit Soni after getting bail in the case of District Badar. It was registered and the address of the accused was being sought as he was absconding and had moved out of the district.
Crime number 557/2024 registered under section 309(6), 296(B), 115(2), 3(5) of BNS for the crime of assault and robbery committed by Kuldeep Sahu’s brother Sandeep Sahu on 07.10.2024. He was arrested on 11.10.2024 and sent to jail in judicial custody. Along with this, action was also taken against Sanjay Sahu, uncle of accused Kuldeep Sahu, of District Badar, for violating which, action was taken under Chhattisgarh State Security Act and he was sent to judicial custody, who is detained in jail. The case of District Badar against Ashok Sahu, father of accused Kuldeep Sahu, has been presented in the District Magistrate Court in which the final order is yet to be passed. Due to the above actions, Kuldeep Sahu was angry against the police officers and employees and wanted to take quick revenge.
After arresting the accused on 16.10.2024, police remand application of accused Kuldeep Sahu has been prepared and after obtaining the remand, the fire arms used in committing the crime are to be seized separately. In this case, action has been taken to collect scientific evidence with the help of FSL Unit, Dog Squad and Print Expert. The involvement of other accused in these cases is being investigated. All the police gazetted officers of Surajpur, police station in-charge of the district and the team of Balrampur police remained active in this action.

(4) Chandrakat Chaudhary alias Sike, father Shivprasad Chaudhary, age 28 years, resident of village Newra, police station Surajpur.
(5) Suraj Sahu father late. Rajaram Sahu, age 23, village Karwa, Chowki Latori has been arrested.
