Police officials said that the incident took place on October 13 during Dussehra festival in Chechanmetta village of Saja police station area, after which a case was registered against Krishna Sahu on Tuesday. Krishna Sahu is the son of MLA Ishwar Sahu. Ishwar Sahu represents Saja seat.
Officials said that applicant Manish Mandavi (18) in his complaint on Monday alleged that Sahu and his eight-nine friends abused and assaulted him when he was trying to resolve a dispute. of.
He told that there was a dispute between Mandavi’s friend Rahul Dhruv and Sahu and Mandavi was trying to pacify them.
Police officials said that Mandavi has said in the complaint that the accused have also threatened Mandavi of dire consequences.
He said that a case has been registered against the accused under sections of the Indian Justice Code.
Police officials said that no arrest has been made in this regard yet and further investigation is going on. Meanwhile, members of the tribal community of the area accused the administration of suppressing the case and pressurizing the victim to compromise.
