Mumbai: A new history has been created in the stock market today and the BSE Sensex has crossed the level of 75500 for the first time. The BSE Sensex has touched a historic peak and is trading at a new record high level of 75,525.
Nifty has crossed the 23000 level for the first time and has made a new high of 23,004.05.
Sensex-Nifty’s new record high level
Today, the Sensex has touched a new record high of 75,582.28 and the NSE Nifty has made a historical high of 23,004.05. Sensex and Nifty are continuously touching new record levels in today’s trade.
Midcap index also touched new height
The midcap index has also set a new record by crossing the level of 52,500 for the first time in the history of the stock market. The domestic stock market has been getting support for a long time due to the rise in midcap and smallcap stocks, on the basis of which the Indian markets are making history.
At what level were the markets open
However, today the market started in the red with a decline. The BSE Sensex opened at 75,335 with a decline of 82.59 points or 0.11 percent. The NSE Nifty opened at 22,930 level, down 36.90 points or 0.11 percent.
BSE market capitalization at all-time high
The market capitalization of BSE has reached a record high. It has reached Rs 421.09 lakh crore for the first time and thus for the first time BSE has achieved a market cap of above Rs 420 lakh crore. At present, 3129 stocks are being traded on BSE, out of which 1743 stocks are rising. The number of falling stocks is 1263 and there is no change in 123 stocks. Upper circuit is imposed on 101 stocks and lower circuit is imposed on 61 stocks.
The condition of the stock market 40 minutes after opening
At 9:54 am, out of 30 BSE Sensex stocks, 13 stocks are rising and 17 stocks are falling. L&T is the top gainer and along with it, Bajaj Finance, SBI, Wipro, Bharti Airtel and Tata Steel stocks are also rising. Among the falling stocks, Sun Pharma, TCS, ICICI Bank, M&M and Titan stocks are at the bottom.
Bank Nifty reached near 50,000 today
Bank Nifty touched a high of 48,976.70 today and thus came close to touching the historic high of 50 thousand for the first time. At present, 7 out of 12 stocks of Bank Nifty are trading with a rise while 5 stocks are seen on the decline.
