Bhavnagar: A sensational incident of a deadly attack on a doctor in the ICU of a private hospital in Bhavnagar, Gujarat has come to light. Three people have carried out this incident, who have been arrested by the police. It is alleged that the victim doctor had asked the three accused to remove their shoes before entering the ICU, on which they got angry.
After abusing him, the victim was beaten to a pulp. A police officer said that three people involved in the attack were arrested on Saturday at Shreya Hospital in Sihor city. The incident took place on September 12, when the accused had gone to the hospital to treat a woman who had suffered a head injury. When they entered the emergency room, the doctor asked them to remove their shoes.
After this, they started abusing the doctor and the nursing staff. The accused started beating Dr. Jaydeep Singh Gohil (33). He was badly injured by the beating. They also damaged the medicines and other medical equipment kept in the ICU. After this, they also threatened to kill the people present there. Based on the doctor’s complaint, the police have registered a case against the accused under sections 115 (2), 352 and 351 (3) of the Indian Penal Code.
The accused have been identified as Hiren Dangar, Bhavdeep Dangar and Kaushik Kuwadia. After this incident, anger was seen among the doctors. Security has been demanded from the police. Deputy Superintendent of Police Narendra Kumar had said that the three accused who assaulted the doctor apologized to the police by holding their ears. This case is of the government hospital of Basedi police station area of Dholpur district. The victim doctor Kamal Kishore was going to the hospital for duty on March 25. He got into an argument with some people on the way.
After this, the dispute escalated so much that a shopkeeper along with his two companions beat up the doctors and even threatened to kill them. As soon as the complaint was received, the police started investigating and searched the CCTV cameras installed nearby. The three accused were identified on the basis of CCTV footage. After this, the police raided and arrested the three accused. All three apologized to the doctor in front of him.
