New Delhi: Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Satyendra Jain said on Saturday that his future political responsibilities will be decided by the party and its convenor Arvind Kejriwal. Former Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain was released from Tihar Jail on Friday night, hours after he was granted bail by a city court in a money laundering case.
When Jain was asked about his future political role, he told PTI-Video, “I will do whatever our party and Arvind Kejriwal say.” Rouse Avenue court granted bail to Jain on Friday afternoon. Gave.
Satyendra Jain was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in May 2022. He said, “Atrocities are taking place…It seems that British rule is back. Governments should compete on the work being done for the public, but BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) does not do this. They say we will not let you work.”
Jain alleged that he was arrested to stop the work being done by Kejriwal and the AAP government for mohalla clinics and cleaning of Yamuna. He said, “I think it is very unfortunate for the country. All parties need to work unitedly, only then the country will progress.”
After being released from jail, Jain met Kejriwal on Friday night at his residence on Ferozeshah Road.
The AAP convener shared his photos with Jain on social media platform ‘X’ and said, “Satyendra, you are welcome!” Party leaders including Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh gave Jain a warm welcome outside Tihar Jail on Friday.
