Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday announced the names of 19 more candidates in its sixth list for the Haryana Assembly elections. AAP has given ticket to senior leader Prem Garg from Panchkula.
The party also announced the names of its candidates from Kalka, Ambala City, Mullana, Shahabad, Pehowa, Guhla, Panipat, Jind, Fatehabad, Ellenabad, Nalwa, Loharu, Badhra, Dadri, Bawani Khera, Kosli, Faridabad NIT and Badkal seats.
AAP has fielded Manish Arora from Ellenabad, while Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has fielded its senior leader Abhay Singh Chautala from the same seat. According to the list released by the party, OP Gujjar will contest from Kalka, Wazir Singh Dhanda from Jind, Kamal Bisla from Fatehabad, Geeta Sheoran from Loharu, OP Verma from Badkhal and Himmat Yadav from Kosli.
The Arvind Kejriwal-led party had earlier announced the names of 70 candidates. On Wednesday, the AAP released the names of 30 candidates for the assembly elections, including former wrestler Kavita Dalal from Julana against Congress’ Vinesh Phogat and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s Yogesh Bairagi.
