Kochi. Film actor Bala was arrested by the police on Monday following a complaint lodged by his ex-wife and their daughter. Police gave this information. After the arrest, the police took him for medical examination. After this he was presented in the court from where he got bail.
While granting bail, the court ruled that no video of his child should be uploaded on social media platforms and directed him to cooperate with the investigating officer, his lawyer said. He was released on bail on two sureties of Rs 25,000 each. Police said that the actor has been accused of defamation, insult to womanhood and cruelty towards children through social media. Police said that Bala was detained from his house on Monday morning.
