New Delhi: Investment agreements worth Rs 12.5 lakh crore have been signed during meetings with industry in Mumbai and Delhi ahead of the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ investor summit to be held in Jaipur in December.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma gave this information on Monday. “During the meetings in Mumbai (in August), agreements worth Rs 4.5 lakh crore were signed for investments in various sectors including renewable energy, cement, auto components and battery storage,” he said while addressing the meeting here in Delhi. Sharma said that this will create seven lakh employment opportunities in Rajasthan.
The Chief Minister said that there are a lot of investment opportunities in Rajasthan and the policies are favorable for investment. Sharma said that overall investment proposals worth Rs 12.5 lakh crore have been received (Delhi and Mumbai).
