Telecom service provider Bharti Airtel on Wednesday said that with the help of its new system equipped with artificial intelligence (AI), it has identified 5.70 crore potential ‘spam calls’ in Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh circle in just 12 days. Bharti Airtel’s Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh Circle Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ritesh Aggarwal told a press conference in Indore, “With the help of our new AI-enabled system, we identified 5.70 crore potential spam calls in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh in 12 days.” Is. “13 lakh potential spam SMS have also been detected through this mechanism.”
According to Aggarwal, this state-of-the-art system of Bharti Airtel identifies potential spam calls and spam SMS with about 97 percent accuracy. Quoting an estimate, he said that 60 percent customers receive three or more spam calls every day, while 90 percent customers receive some or the other spam SMS. Aggarwal said that with the help of Bharti Airtel’s new system, about 1.60 crore customers of the company in both the states will not only get freedom from unwanted calls and SMS, but they can also avoid falling into the trap of cyber fraudsters.
