Amritkal: Students’ ideas will also be documented for Chhattisgarh Vision @ 2047

To realize the objective of making Chhattisgarh a developed state by 2047, an important step has been taken by the State Policy Commission, Higher Education Department and School Education Department. The State Policy Commission is preparing a document ‘Amrit Kaal: Chhattisgarh Vision @ 2047’, which aims to ensure rapid development of all areas of the state. For this, an essay writing competition is being organized for class 11th and 12th students in all the colleges and government and grant-in-aid and private higher secondary schools of the state to take suggestions from all the young citizens, students. The students participating in the competition will have to present their views on the topic “Developed Chhattisgarh, Happy Chhattisgarh of my dream”, which will be evaluated by the panel on the basis of criteria such as relevance, assessment of the current situation, innovation, feasibility, clarity and presentation and the best essays will be awarded by the Commission by providing a certificate.

Member Secretary of State Policy Commission Anup Shrivastava and Member K. Subramaniam said that students will have to write their essays in 1500 to 2500 words in Hindi or English. In the essay, students will have to assess the current situation of Chhattisgarh, in which they will have to present their vision and vision to make Chhattisgarh a prosperous and inclusive state by 2047 based on the strengths and weaknesses of the state. Students will have to present their views on topics like improvement in industry and services in the state, improvement in agriculture and forestry, quality education and skill development, quality health facilities, expansion of infrastructure, social welfare, good governance and sustainable development.

Joint Director Dr. Neetu Gauradiya said that the objective of this competition is to motivate students to actively participate in the development of the state, so that their suggestions can lead Chhattisgarh towards a better future.
