Former Union Minister and current MLA Renuka Singh has taken a step towards fulfilling another of her election promises. Now the Additional Collector will sit in Bharatpur Block for two days every month.

Ravikant Singh Rajput- Manendragarh. With the initiative of Chhattisgarh’s Bharatpur-Sonhat MLA and former Union Minister of State Renuka Singh, now the people of forest area Bharatpur block will not have to go to the district headquarters Manendragarh for settlement of revenue matters.
Anil Kumar Sidar, Additional Collector and Additional District Magistrate has been authorized to hear all revenue, appeal, revision and review cases under Bharatpur section area. Additional District Magistrate will hear all the cases of Bharatpur section on the first and third Monday of every month from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm in Bharatpur Revenue Sub-Divisional Office (SDM Office).
First step towards creating a district: Renuka
MLA Renuka Singh congratulated the people of the area on the sitting of Additional Collector in Bharatpur Block for two days in a month and said that I had promised during the assembly elections that I would make Changbhakhar a district. This is my first step in the effort to make it a district. As per my promise, I will soon make a district named Changbhakhar. She said that this will happen for the first time after independence that an Additional Collector rank officer will sit in the remote forest area Bharatpur Block for two days in a month and solve the public problems including revenue.

Now you will not have to cover a distance of 110 km
With the additional collector sitting in Bharatpur block, the people of the forest region will not have to travel 110 km to Manendragarh. Their problems will be solved in their own block headquarters. Former Union Minister of State, Bharatpur Sonhat MLA said that the Congress government has made Manendragarh Chirmiri Bharatpur a district in name only, but the people of Bharatpur have not got any benefit from it till now. I am determined to make a district of work, not just in name.
