Jagdalpur Automated Fitness Centre
Mahendra Vishwakarma-Jagdalpur. Automated fitness center was started 6 months ago in village Ghatlohanga on Raipur NH road, about 14 km from Bastar divisional headquarters. In which fitness of about 250 vehicles was done every month i.e. 1500 vehicles in 6 months. But now the center is on the verge of closure due to poor software and arbitrary charges.
The Transport Department, Raipur received a complaint regarding fitness and arbitrary fee, due to which the team of Assistant Commissioner of Transport Department, Raipur, CL Dewangan reached the centre on Monday and inspected the centre thoroughly. During this, it was found that the fitness software at the centre is faulty and arbitrary fees are being charged. During the inspection, the team found that the complaint received was correct. After investigation, a report will be received in about 10 days. After that, it will be decided whether the centre should be closed or suspended and how much fine will be imposed. It is being told that the Automated Fitness Centres of Raipur and Bilaspur were suspended under Rule 185 of the Automated Testing Station Recognition, Regulation and Control Rules.
The centre is running in loss
According to the information received, an automated fitness center was started in Ghatlohanga from March 23. Since then, about 250 vehicles are being made fit every month, due to less number of vehicles, the center is currently running in loss. It is being told that about 2 lakh rupees are being spent on the salary of 14 employees and security personnel of the center every month.

Regional Transport Officer DC Banjare said that the team of Transport Department Headquarters inspected the Automated Fitness Center located in Ghatlohanga. Its report will be received from the headquarters, after which a decision will be taken.
