Yogesh Singh Rajput, Bemetra. Police have solved the mystery of the murder of a teacher in Matka village of Raipur-Kawardha National Highway. In the murder case, the police have arrested 5 accused including the brother-in-law of the deceased. The reason behind the murder is said to be a domestic dispute.
Disclosing the murder case, Superintendent of Police Bhavna Gupta said that on February 3, at 12 noon, information was received about the murder of a young man near village Matka on the National Highway. During investigation, the deceased was identified as Vijay Verma, resident of Ward No. 18 of Bemetra, who was working as a teacher in village Jiya. The police reached the spot and started investigating and started solving the reasons behind the murder.
Police further said that deceased Vijay Verma had a dispute with his wife regarding dowry issue. Vijay Verma had come to meet his wife only two days ago, due to which there was a dispute with his brother-in-law Lalit Verma. During this time, brother-in-law Lalit Verma had threatened to kill brother-in-law Vijay Verma.
Let's kill brother-in-law with betel nut
In this case, Lalit Verma had given contract to his friend Tukaram Sahu for Rs 2 lakh 50 thousand to kill teacher Vijay Verma. After giving contract for murder, Tukaram along with his associates carried out the murder. In the case, the police have so far arrested five accused including accused Lalit Verma and betel nut killer Tukaram. One accused is said to be absconding, the police is busy searching for him.
