Biharpur: Due to lack of road culvert in village panchayat Sapaha, patients have to be brought for treatment on cots

The Uncut

Surajpur: There is neither a road nor a culvert to reach the Patel Para Basti in Sapaha Gram Panchayat of Chandni Biharpur, a remote area of the district, due to which the residents of Patel Para Basti of Sapaha Panchayat have to face a lot of problems due to the lack of basic facilities, the latest case has come today.

Yesterday the health of 45-year-old woman Phoolmati Pal, wife of Sugrim Pal, suddenly deteriorated and she fell unconscious due to vomiting and diarrhoea. Thereafter, her family members carried her on a cot about 2 km from her home to the main road on their shoulders. After quite some time, 108 ambulance arrived from Community Health Centre Biharpur and the patient was taken to the hospital. After some time, the victim regained consciousness and her treatment is going on.

The villagers of Patelpara of Gram Panchayat Sapaha told that there is no road or bridge to go to Patelpara colony, therefore when the villagers of the locality fall sick they have to be taken to the main road on cots.

Whereas the villager said that he has given this information to the Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Secretary many times in the Gram Sabha but the Sarpanch Secretary only gives assurance that the road will be built in this month, the bridge will be built and many years were spent saying this but the road bridge could not be built.
