New Delhi. Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Rahul Gandhi should tell whether his government implemented the old pension scheme in Himachal Pradesh. Congress itself got upset with its promise of pension. BJP responded to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s U-turn statement regarding the Modi government’s integrated pension scheme. Kharge had said that the U in UPS means the Modi government’s U-turn. Regarding this, BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said that when will the Congress fulfill its promise of pension made in Himachal Pradesh?
BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Rahul Gandhi should tell whether his government implemented the old pension scheme in Himachal Pradesh. Congress itself got upset with its promise of pension. Due to this, this promise was not included in the manifesto of the Lok Sabha elections. Congress makes announcements only to get votes. The public does not trust its decisions.
At the same time, Ravi Shankar Prasad also criticized Rahul Gandhi’s statement that there are no Dalits, Adivasis and OBCs in the Miss India list. He said that it is good that opposition leader Rahul Gandhi talks about OBCs. It is also his right, but will he take the debate to such a low level? Caste census is a serious issue and the sanctity of the ongoing discussion on it should be maintained.
He said that if Rahul Gandhi is talking about empowering OBCs, then he needs to maintain some sanctity in the debate. Many deserving contestants from the minority community like Rita Faria and Diana Hayden have reached Miss World. Apart from this, one or two Sikh contestants also reached there. Others are also going and they should go. He said that Rahul Gandhi should not disrespect this dialogue.
In fact, at the Samvidhan Samman Sammelan organized by the Civil Society at the Convention Center of Allahabad Medical Association in Prayagraj, Rahul Gandhi had said that I saw the list of Miss India, there is no Dalit, tribal or backward woman there.
