MLA Motilal Sahu asked how many BPL and APL card holders there were as of 2018 and how much has the number of ration cards increased? Food Minister Dayaldas Baghel replied that as of 2018, 14 lakh 64 thousand 855 Antyodaya ration cards, 42 lakh 60 thousand 937 priority ration cards and 55 thousand 436 single destitute ration cards were prevalent. There has been an increase in 18 lakh 56 thousand 436 ration cards.

MLA Rajesh Munat asked whether the ration card will be linked to Aadhaar. For the fourth time the card is being printed in Chhattisgarh..The previous government did not link it to Aadhaar, it was they who started printing the photo on the ration card. Minister Dayaldas Baghel said that it is being linked to Aadhaar.
