Brother murdered in property dispute: Case of half-burnt body found in the forest solved, step mother and brothers had committed the crime, four accused arrested

Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. Police have solved the case of half-burnt body found in the forest of Sirgitti area. The stepmother, two brothers and the driver together carried out the murder. The accused committed murder in Birra of Champa and threw the body in the forest of Bilaspur. The police have arrested the stepmother, the driver and two minor accused.

Property dispute is being said to be the reason for the murder. Let us tell you that this incident happened on 31st January. Ravi Sahu, living in Birra Road Champa, often had disputes with his step mother Hemlata Sahu and brothers. On the morning of 31 January, the deceased had set his house on fire in a fit of rage, due to which many of the household items were burnt. When there was a dispute regarding this matter in the afternoon, the accused killed Ravi by hitting him on the head with an iron pipe.

After committing the crime, the two minor brothers, with the intention of hiding the evidence, took the dead body to Fadahakhar forest at night in a rented vehicle through their driver Sunil Yadav, where they sprinkled petrol on the dead body, set it on fire and ran away. The police reached the accused through the mobile number found with the deceased.
