Case filed against actor Kamal Rashid Khan for making derogatory comments against Mayawati

The Uncut

Saharanpur: A case has been registered at Deoband police station against film actor Kamal Rashid Khan alias KRK for allegedly making derogatory comments against Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) president Mayawati, a police official said.

Kamal Khan is originally a resident of village Phulas Akbarpur under Police Station Devband in Saharanpur district.
He had allegedly made obscene comments on the social media platform ‘X’. Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sagar Jain said that a case has been registered against Kamal Rashid Khan.

This case has been filed against him by BSP leader and former president of the party’s Deoband assembly Sushil Kumar. After this comment of Kamal R Khan, on the orders of BSP supremo, his brother and BSP candidate from Saharanpur Lok Sabha seat Majid Ali was expelled from the party.

In the complaint given by Sushil Kumar in the police station, it was said that “the sentiments of the Bahujan Samaj have been hurt by the comment made on the BSP chief”. The complaint said, “The Dalit community respects and honors Behenji (Mayawati) from the heart, but Kamal Rashid Khan has insulted the Dalit community by making indecent comments on Behenji on ‘X’.”

It is worth noting that in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Saharanpur, Kamal’s brother Majid Ali contested on a BSP ticket and lost the election. In this regard, Majid Ali had said that he has no relationship with Kamal for the last 15 years, while Kamal also wrote another post saying that “There are some small leaders of Mayawati’s party in Saharanpur who are trying to get publicity by calling me their brother or relative.” It is worth noting that Kamal R Khan always remains in the headlines for his controversial statements. Majid Ali’s wife has been the president of Saharanpur District Panchayat on a BSP ticket.
