Durg. After ED, IT, now CBI has entered Chhattisgarh. CBI has raided the house of Shamshul Jama Khan, Junior Health Inspector of Bhilai Steel Plant and the office located at Bhilai Steel Plant. The team has reached here to take action in the case of taking bribe in the name of house allotment.
According to the complaint, Shamshul Jama, Junior Health Inspector of Bhilai Steel Plant, used to demand bribe in the name of house allotment. A bribe of Rs 20,000 was demanded from the complainant in the name of allotment, but the deal was finalized for Rs 5,000. The action of CBI's Anti Corruption Bureau team is still going on in the house and office of the accused.
PSC case will also be investigated by CBI
The government has decided to hand over the PSC case to CBI. It is noteworthy that allegations of large scale irregularities have been made during recruitment in CGPSC. There are also allegations that former CGPSC Chairman Taman Singh Sonwani has got his relatives and many Congress leaders selected. BJP is raising this issue prominently in Chhattisgarh.
