In the housing fair ceremony organized under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) organized in TP Nagar, Korba, the chief guest, Deputy Chief Minister of the state and Minister in-charge of the district, Arun Sao, said that the central and state government together are realizing the vision of overall development of our Chhattisgarh state. . Our resolution was that “we have created the state of Chhattisgarh – we will improve it” and today this resolution is being fulfilled rapidly. Work is being done on a large scale on every front of development in the state. He said that the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has seen poverty closely, he understood the pain of the poor and implemented many schemes in the interest of the poor.
Deputy Chief Minister Sao further said that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 04 crore poor families in the country have got permanent houses, while 03 crore families are being given permanent houses. He said that 60 thousand permanent houses have been built in Korba district and at present the amount has been deposited in the accounts of 27 thousand beneficiaries as the first installment of houses. He said that when our government was formed to provide permanent houses to all the poor families in Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai signed the approval for the construction of 18 lakh residential houses in the state on the very second day of taking oath. He further said that all the guarantees of Modi are being fulfilled rapidly. In the program, Deputy Chief Minister Saw distributed new house approval letters, keys of completed houses, forest rights lease and other materials to the beneficiaries of the scheme. The program was presided over by State Industry, Commerce and Labor Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan.
Wind of development blowing from Surguja to Bastar: Minister Dewangan
In his address at the function, State Industry, Commerce and Labor Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan said that Chhattisgarh state is being developed rapidly under the guidance of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, the wind of development is blowing from Surguja to Bastar. On the instructions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, work is being done with full quality in the entire state on the lines of corruption-free government and corruption-free administration. He said that as soon as our government was formed, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai signed the approval of residential houses for 18 lakh poor families, under this the Central Government has approved 08.5 lakh residential houses in the first phase. The housing fair program was also addressed by Katghora MLA Premchand Patel, District Panchayat President Shivkala Chhatrapal Singh Kanwar, Collector Ajit Vasant and other guests. Collector Vasant said that more than 40 thousand houses have been sanctioned in Korba district. More than 07 thousand houses have been completed. One Awas Mitra is being appointed for 150 houses, out of which appointment letters are being supplied to the Awas Mitras today. On this occasion, Katghora MLA Premchand Patel and District Panchayat President Mrs. Shivkala Chhatrapal Singh Kanwar also addressed.
Gift of development work worth Rs 16 crore to urban bodies of the district
In the Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration program organized under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Sao, Chief Hospitality and Industry Minister Dewangan, the gift of development work worth about Rs 16 crore was given to the urban bodies of the district. In which Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of 20 development works costing Rs 12 crore 80 lakh 38 thousand of Municipal Corporation Korba, 03 development works costing Rs 1.54 lakh 34 thousand of Municipality Deepka, 01 crore 26 lakh 28 thousand of Nagar Panchayat Pali. 03 development works costing Rs. 10 lakh and 01 development work costing Rs. 10 lakh 25 thousand of Nagar Panchayat Chhuri are included.
Beneficiaries received keys of permanent houses
In the housing fair, Deputy Chief Minister Sao and Industry Minister Dewangan gave the keys of their permanent houses to the beneficiaries. Raghuvar Prasad and Dhansai, residents of Bhulsidih and Ramkumar, Lalitram, Guruwari Bai, residents of Bela, were given the keys of their complete houses in a symbolic manner. Similarly, new house approval letters were provided to Gram Panchayat Aurai residents Ramlal, Firtaram, Sawan Singh, Sohagpur resident Battulal and Pachpedi resident Daduram.
10 beneficiaries got forest rights lease
In the program, forest rights patta was given to Suklal, Herpal, Ratiram, Shivpal, Sunhar, residents of village Iraf of Pali development block and Rajkumar, Sunil Kanwar, Thansingh, Bhajan Singh and Indrabhan, residents of Bhandarkhol. Similarly, certificates of honor were also given to the selected Awasmitras for various clusters.
