Raipur: Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has given a big gift of Rs 10,000 crore to Chhattisgarh. With this amount, Detailed Project Report (DPR) of 4 new National Highway projects in the state will be prepared. These projects will strengthen the road infrastructure in the state and improve transportation facilities.
Union Minister Gadkari discussed these projects during his meeting with Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai in New Delhi today. In the meeting, there was a deep discussion on the progress and future plans of the ongoing highway projects in Chhattisgarh.
DPR has received the approval of the Center for 4 new projects, construction work is expected to start soon. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai expressed his gratitude to the Union Minister for this important gift and said that these projects will give new impetus to the economic and social development of the state. He said that Chhattisgarh government will complete all the projects in a time bound manner by giving priority to road construction works.
