Police officials said that two Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel were injured in a landmine explosion in Narayanpur district of Bastar region and one security personnel was injured in a pressure bomb explosion in Bijapur.

Police officials said that two jawans of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police were injured in a landmine explosion near Kutul village under Kohkameta police station area of ​​Narayanpur district. They said that a team of the 53rd battalion of ITBP was sent for patrolling the forests between Kutul and Mohndi villages under Kohkameta police station area of ​​Narayanpur.

Officials said that during patrolling this morning at around 6:30 am, a landmine planted by Naxalites exploded near Kutul village. They said that two soldiers were injured in this incident. They said that the injured soldiers were taken to the hospital from the spot and their condition is normal and out of danger.

Police officials said that in another incident, a DRG jawan was injured after being hit by a pressure bomb in Maddeed police station area of ​​Bijapur district. He said that as part of the anti-Maoist operation, a joint team of DRG, Bastar Fighter, Special Task Force (STF) and Central Reserve Police Force was sent on patrol from Bijapur.

Officials said that when the team was in the jungle of Bandepara village under Maddeed police station area today, Bijapur DRG jawan Lachu Kadti got injured when a pressure bomb planted by Maoists exploded. He said that after the incident, the injured jawan was taken to the hospital. He said that the condition of the injured jawan is normal and out of danger. He said that the operation against Naxalites is going on in the area.
