Chief Minister Mohan Yadav challenged Rahul Gandhi to speak about the Kolkata incident

The Uncut

Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Thursday accused Rahul Gandhi of bringing shame to India in the US and said the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha does not see the criminal incidents in Kolkata and Congress-ruled states.
Rahul Gandhi has launched a scathing attack on the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the attack on two young army officers who were picnicking with their two female friends in Indore district of Madhya Pradesh and the alleged rape of a young woman who was part of the group.

Chief Minister Yadav, while hitting back at Gandhi, told reporters in Katni, “It is very unfortunate that Rahul Gandhi is doing the work of embarrassing the country (India) in America. He does not see what is happening in Kolkata and Congress-ruled states and he never talks about it.” Yadav said that if Rahul Gandhi has the courage, then he should talk about the criminal incidents in Kolkata and Congress-ruled states. He said this while clearly pointing to the incident of alleged rape and murder of a female trainee doctor in a hospital in Kolkata, the capital of Trinamool Congress-ruled West Bengal.

Referring to Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the US, Yadav quipped that the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha has “plenty of free time”. Regarding the incident in Indore district, the Chief Minister said that his government has made arrests in this case through prompt action. He said, “Our government is very strict in such cases. Whoever the accused is, he will not escape action and the law will do its job.” The Chief Minister was on a visit to Katni to launch various development projects.
