Former Chief Minister and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said, ‘Congress was continuously spreading lies but the public rejected their words. The working policies and achievements of the government have been accepted by the public… This is a record in itself because no party had formed the government for the third time in Haryana. BJP has formed the government in Haryana for the third time.
On Congress’s election issue ‘Farmers, Soldiers and Wrestlers’, he said, “The issue was that Congress could not have done as much as we (BJP) have done for farmers, soldiers and wrestlers and the public knows this. They may talk about anything, but the public will like only the right thing… The public is not under the illusion of Congress… The public has approved our work and the policies of PM Modi. I give the credit for this to the public and BJP workers.
