Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai released the flex of Project ‘Jagriti’ run by Bhilai based organization ‘Swayamsiddha’ in the ‘Janadarshan’ organized at his residence today. Through Project ‘Jagriti’, the organization is creating awareness among children and parents against the use of abusive language in 200 schools of Durg district. The Chief Minister praised the work of the organization and patted the back of the members for this new initiative.
Dr. Sonali Chakraborty, founder and director of ‘Swayamsiddha’, told Chief Minister Sai that under Project ‘Jagriti’, children and parents are being made aware and sensitized about the ill effects of foul language and obscenity. This campaign is being run in 200 schools of Durg district. This campaign has been started on 5 September on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. Due to the bad effects of TV, mobile, OTT and web series, the language of children is in a very worrying state. This initiative has been taken by the organization to improve it. She told that through Project ‘Jagriti’, programs are being conducted to improve the language of school children. Along with this, children are being made to take a pledge to speak in good language without abusing. For this, separate awareness programs are also being run for parents.
