Raipur. The youth of Raigarh region are going to get a big gift. The state’s largest Nalanda complex is going to be constructed in Raigarh. State Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will perform its Bhoomi Pujan on December 3.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that there are limitless possibilities for a bright future in a knowledge-based society. Today, if we look at the global and national scenario, all those who are seen as change makers in the society have made knowledge the basis of their success. Apart from the established parameters of success, knowledge is the foundation of the success milestones being set in technology-based entrepreneurship today. If the youth get the right guidance and facilities, they can make a strong path for their future.
Finance Minister OP Chaudhary informed that the Nalanda complex in Raigarh will have a state-of-the-art library. It will have all the facilities which are usually found in the libraries of big cities and universities. It will have facilities and resources as per the demands and needs of the times to come. Here, students will get such an eco-system of study-teaching, through which they can prepare themselves to compete at the national level along with the state. He said that a fully equipped Nalanda complex will be constructed in Marine Drive, Raigarh. This will be the largest Nalanda complex in the state. For this, an agreement of Rs 42 crore 56 lakh has been signed between Municipal Corporation and NTPC. The tender has been issued by the Urban Administration Department. Nalanda campus will be a smart library and study zone. Along with the collection of thousands of books, there will also be a facility to access international level e-books. There will be focus on smart learning. Students will also get 24×7 WiFi and internet facility here. Along with civil services, there will be books for medical, engineering, CLAT preparation as well as books for Maths Olympiad. Career guidance seminar will be organized. A separate Kids Study Zone and Kids Library will also be prepared to prepare the children for admission in Navodaya Vidyalaya, Sainik School after 5th. Where books and study material will be available as per their syllabus. There will also be a cafeteria along with the conference hall.
Chief Minister will gift development works worth Rs 135 crore 09 lakh
On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will also gift various development works worth Rs 135 crore 09 lakh to Raigarh. This includes inauguration of 69 works worth Rs 97 crore 51 lakh and bhoomi pujan of 13 works worth Rs 37 crore 58 lakh.
