Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai’s Raipur residence is all decked up for “Tija-Pora Mahtari Vandan Tihaar with Vishnu Bhaiya”. Teeja-Pora Mahtari Vandan Tihaar has been organized at the Chief Minister’s residence on September 2 from 11 am to 1 pm. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai reviewed the preparations for Tihaar at his residence this evening. He inspected the seating arrangements for the guests, the place of worship, the stage, etc. Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary, Secretary to the Chief Minister P. Dayanand and Basavaraju S. were also present on this occasion.
The Chief Minister’s residence has been decorated according to Chhattisgarh’s traditions and customs. The venue has been decorated with colourful garlands and flowers. The place of worship has been decorated with beautiful clay Nandiya bulls and colourful toys. An attractive statue of Lord Shiva and Nandiya bull has been made here.
The Chief Minister will attend the Teeja-Pora Tihar program at his residence on September
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will attend the Teeja-Pora Tihar program at his residence premises on September 2 at 11 am. Chief Minister Sai will leave from the Police Ground Helipad at 2.35 pm and reach village Madiapar in Dhamdha Tehsil of Durg district at 2.55 pm and after participating in Pola Mahotsav-2024 there, he will return to Raipur at 4.30 pm.
Chief Minister congratulated the people of the state on Pola festival
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has congratulated the people of the state, especially the farmers, on Pola Tihar. On this occasion, he has wished happiness, prosperity and well-being of all the citizens. In his greetings message issued on the eve of Pola Tihar, Sai has said that Pola Tihar is the biggest festival of farmers related to farming. It tells the importance of farming and livestock in our lives. On this day, bulls and Jata-Pora are worshipped with enthusiasm in homes and prayers are offered for a good harvest and the house to be filled with wealth and grains. This is a festival linked to the depths of Chhattisgarh’s tradition, culture and folk life.
Sai said that festivals pass on our culture and traditions to the next generation. By playing with earthen pots and bulls on the day of Pola, children unknowingly get attached to their soil and its traditions. Sai said that preservation and promotion of traditional festivals is essential to pass on our rich culture to the next generations and keep them connected to the land.
