Child Rescue in CG: RPF team found 12 children abandoned in railway station, police handed them over to Child Help Line.

Durg. Railway police has rescued 12 children at Durg railway station in Chhattisgarh. These children were found in abandoned conditions. During interrogation, the children told that they are children of Balaji Gurukul located in Hyderabad. The age of all is between 8 to 15 years. Railway Police has handed over these children to the Child Help Line. At present, the police have contacted some family members of Hyderabad and Bilaspur and after presenting the documents, have called them to Durg to take the children. These children found in Durg railway station include children from Assam, Nagaland and Chhattisgarh. According to the Railway Police, the RPF team was searching in the station on Sunday. Meanwhile, his eyes fell on the children sitting on platform number-4, who did not have any parents with them. After interrogating the children, the children were brought to the station room and the officers were informed.

During interrogation, the children told that they are students of Balaji Gurukul in Hyderabad and had reached Durg by Secunderabad-Raipur Express. He has to participate in the yoga program to be held in Ambikapur. There was no one from the school management with these children. In such a situation, the soldiers have sent the children to a shelter home with the help of child help line.

RPF Durg in-charge SK Sinha said that these children have come from different parts of the country. Of these, 3 children are from Jharkhand, 2 from Nagaland, one from Assam and 6 from Chhattisgarh. Of the 6 children of the state, 3 are from Raigarh, 1 each from Pendra, Baloda Bazar and Jashpur. Officers say that some relatives from Bilaspur are reaching Durg. After checking all the documents, they will be handed over to the children.
