Clinics of four quacks sealed, notice issued to two nursing homes

Noida: In Gautam Buddha Nagar district, the Health Department has sealed the clinics of four quacks and issued notices to two private nursing homes for not meeting the standards. An official gave this information on Thursday.

The officer said that this action was taken in Bisrakh police station area on Wednesday. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma said that action was taken against quacks by forming a team under the leadership of Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jayesh Lal.

He said, “Bengali Clinic in Bihari Bazar of Bisrakh police station area, Sanjeev Sharma’s Clinic located in Jalpura village, Shivam Health Care and Sion Clinic located in Amanabad village were raided where quacks were found treating patients.”

He told that at the time of investigation, Jhelachhap doctors could not show the documents related to permission for treatment and the accused had not even studied medicine. Sharma said, “All four clinics have been sealed and the clinics have also been given police custody, so that the treatment does not start again by breaking the seal.” A notice has been issued to the operators of the nursing home and their reply has been sought within 15 days.
