Raipur. Governor Ramen Deka has emphasized on community participation for water and environment conservation and has called upon everyone to plant a tree for environmental conservation. Governor Deka expressed the above views in a meeting of administrative officers held in Durg district.
The Governor took information about the implementation of various central schemes in the district. Apart from various schemes of the central and state government, he also took information about the work being done in the district for social welfare. Governor Deka said that the successful implementation of government schemes is ensured by the officers and employees. With better implementation of welfare schemes, its benefits reach the people. He asked the officers to discharge their duties with a sense of duty, honesty and dedication.
Governor Deka discussed 20 agenda-wise topics with the officials. He also invited suggestions from the administrative officials on this. Collector Suricha Prakash Chaudhary gave a power point presentation regarding the schemes of the district. Divisional Commissioner S.N. Rathore, Inspector General of Police Ram Gopal Garg, Superintendent of Police Jitendra Shukla, and other administrative officials were present in the meeting.
