Constitutional institutions have become ‘puppets’ of the central government: Hemant Soren

The Uncut

Garhwa. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday alleged that constitutional institutions are working for the BJP and have become ‘puppets’ of the central government. Launching the campaign for the assembly elections from Garhwa district, the senior Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader said that this election is about the rights and dignity of the state and its people.

Soren also said that the elections were announced before the scheduled time and his government was ‘not even allowed to complete the stipulated term.’ Voting for the 81-member assembly in the state will be held on November 13 and November 20 and the counting of votes will take place on November 23.

“It is not hidden from anyone that the constitutional institutions are working for the BJP and have become puppets of the central government,” he said at a rally in Garhwa city to get votes for JMM’s Mithilesh Kumar Thakur. The voices raised against BJP are being suppressed. I am a living example of this.”
