New Delhi: The Centre for Hindu Studies at Delhi University in association with Sanskriti Sangyan organised a one-day national conference on ‘Ramcharitmanas for Humanity’ on Friday. According to an official statement, the event was aimed at providing a platform for scholars and experts to discuss the cultural, social and contemporary relevance of Ramcharitmanas. The event was attended by 300 people.
In his address, Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat highlighted the enduring significance of Ramcharitmanas, calling it a guide to deal with the challenges of life and highlighted its relevance in modern times, the statement said.
Shekhawat also explained how the teachings of Ramcharitmanas have spread the knowledge of India across the world and encouraged the application of its principles in daily life.
