Raipur: In Raipur, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma has given an important statement regarding the increasing cases of crime in the state. He said that a major initiative will be taken in the police department from September. Under this, meetings will be held in the SP offices of all ranges, in which the key performance of the SP and police station in-charges will be decided.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the number of crimes from January to June 2024 is less as compared to the figures from 2021 to 2023, but this is not a matter of satisfaction. He clarified that low crime is also a matter of concern for the government and society, and strict action will be taken.
Regarding the statement given by Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the elimination of Naxalism in the coming few months, he said that the resolve of Union Home Minister Amit Shah is big. In the last few months, the soldiers have done wonders under the campaigns, all deserve praise. We will work with all our heart and soul to free the country and the state from Naxalism. He said that within the stipulated time frame, full efforts will be made for the development of the people and villages of Bastar.
