Hundreds of people have become disabled in its blasts. Some have lost their legs, some have lost their eyes, and some have lost their hands. This Maoist violence is terrorizing the villages. The Deputy Chief Minister said that all the people present here are questioning those human rights supporters who support the Naxalites. Why does no one discuss the pain of the people of Bastar? Why does no one speak about the lives of the villagers of Bastar? How long will this atrocity continue?”
Deputy Chief Minister Sharma also said that as per the resolution of Hon’ble Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Naxalism will be eradicated from Bastar and entire Chhattisgarh. Those who try to break the morale of the security forces should understand that this is not only an issue of Bastar but of the entire country. Naxalites are engaged in ruining the development of Bastar and the peace of the people and its retaliation has now become necessary.
