Family members of the children, Kamlesh Sahu, resident of Bajrangpur Nawagaon and Sanjana Shriwas, resident of Chikhali ward, admitted for treatment in Rajnandgaon District Hospital, said that about two days ago, the children started having vomiting and diarrhea, due to which they were brought here and admitted. He said that the condition of the children is better now and they will be discharged from the hospital soon.

After Holi festival, only children have been affected by vomiting and diarrhea. Treatment of about 6-7 children is going on in the district hospital. It is being told that dirty water was also coming from the tap in this area. It is believed that children have been affected by this. Keeping in view the possibility of diarrhea and other diseases, the health department is also on alert and is providing treatment to the affected people in the area by contacting them door to door.
