While doing daily chores, many times due to carelessness, hands and feet get burnt. While cooking in the kitchen, touching a hot cooker, tawa or utensils like a pan causes burns and sometimes it turns red. Not only this, children also get burns if hot tea or coffee falls on them. Grandma’s recipe is effective
If someone in the house gets a minor burn and starts burning, then make a paste of wheat flour mixed with curd. Apply this paste on the burnt area and leave it. This provides relief from burning sensation on the skin. Keep in mind that the burn should not cause blisters.
Wash with water
In case of a mild burn, the area should be washed immediately with cold running water. This will reduce the burning sensation and provide some relief. But do not do this for a short while, but keep pouring water continuously for about 5-10 minutes. Otherwise, there is a risk of blisters.
Apply coconut oil
If you have been burnt by steam and there is no wound but only redness, then wash that place with water, dry it and apply coconut oil. This also provides relief from burning sensation.
Apply aloe vera gel
Applying aloe vera gel without chemicals kept in a cold refrigerator also provides relief from burning sensation. These home remedies help in providing instant relief in case of minor burns.
